“Nature is the purest and greatest form of treasure you can ever come across” The World Environment day is celebrated world-wide on 5th June 2022. Since 1973, this day has been celebrated to bring awareness and solutions on the environmental issues like pollution, deforestation and many more. Plantation of trees play a crucial role in rebuilding the environment. Though trees play an important role in the human life's by providing timber, fruits and many more, its main role is to rebuild and intoxicate the environment. The only solution to revive the ozone because of global warming is to plant trees. On that day, our K. S. Rangasamy College of Technology students and SM Volunteers worked together in a tree-planting event. A total of fifteen students came together and worked hard to plant ten trees. There are seven girls and eight boys among the fifteen students. Mr. Rajkumar and Mr. Karthikeyan, members of our college's staff, also assisted in the tree planting. By the end of the day, all of the trees had been adorned with happy, tired faces
